Dewclaw removal will be performed by a veterinarian when the puppies are three to five days old. Buyers have 72 hours from the time of adoption to arrange a veterinary examination for their puppy; any requests for return must be submitted within this period and accompanied by a written statement from a veterinarian outlining the issue. If a licensed veterinarian diagnoses a serious or life-threatening illness or disease (refer to the puppy contract), the breeder will either refund the full purchase price or provide a replacement puppy of comparable gender, color, and coat from the next available similar litter. Please note that failure to have the puppy examined within the specified 72-hour window will void the health warranty. The breeder is not responsible for any veterinary bills or transportation expenses. Should the owner be unable to keep the dog at any point in its life, the breeder reserves the right of first refusal. Assistance with re-homing does not guarantee reimbursement of the original purchase price, which remains at the breeder's discretion. Any reimbursement issued will be adjusted based on deductions for health care costs, boarding, training, and other related expenses.
Each puppy comes with a 24-month guarantee against congenital or hereditary/genetic defects affecting quality of life, defined as those causing early death (life expectancy under 5 years), necessitating euthanasia, or requiring medical care exceeding the puppy’s cost. If such a defect is diagnosed within 24 months, buyers may (1) return the puppy for a refund or replacement from the next similar litter, or (2) keep the puppy and receive reimbursement for related medical expenses up to the purchase price. The breeder may require an exam by their chosen veterinarian to confirm the diagnosis before issuing a refund or replacement. The warranty applies only to the original buyer and becomes void if ownership is transferred or the diagnosis is inconclusive.
