Beds and Crates
PETMATE Dog Kennel can be used in the home and for travel. If you plan to travel with your dog and don't want to have a separate crate at home, this is an economical option. If you are planning on getting an indoor crate and planning to take your pup on trips, you should also get a travel crate for safe travel. I find this product is the best value for the quality level.*

MidWest Life Stages (and similar style) crates are not travel crates. They are meant to be in your house. This brand makes a quality product for a reasonable price. I recommend getting the Medium size so your puppy is able to move around, have his food and water in there, as well as a few toys while to play with. The Medium size has a 30" double door, with a size of: 30" L x 19" W x 21" H.*

Crate Pads (beds) are comfortable go in your pup's the crate. MICROCOSMOS dog crate pads have an anti-slip bottom, and are fully machine washable. All puppies like to nibble and practice digging on their beds. You will want to balance cost with quality, as you will likely purchase more than one during your puppy's first year.*

Grooming and Hygiene
SHINY PET ("Greyhound Comb") has a slip-resistant ergonomic handle, and stainless-steel static-free teeth. It removes tangles, knots, and mats. This comb is perfect for professionals and pet owners alike, allowing you to perfect your pet's coat with every stroke.
Goldendoodles should be combed at least every other day. Begin gently combing (while praising) your new puppy daily (just for a minute at first). She will become accustomed to it, and may even enjoy it. Mine love being combed. There is a special technique which I will demonstrate when you pick your puppy up. |
I use EARTH RATED products. The 3-IN-1 CURLY-COAT DOG SHAMPOO is what I use for for my curly coat, wavy coat, and straight coat dogs. Many Vets recommend that dogs not be bathed more than every-other week to a month, so the GROOMING WIPES and DOG REFRESH MIST keep my dogs clean between bathing.

It's always a good idea to have some disposable pads when you bring a new puppy home. Whether they're in their crate, traveling in the car, or on furniture, accidents do happen. I find WOWFLASH brand to be the most cost effective. You may wish to compare and select what is right for you.

After puppies are well adjusted to their new home, I suggest introducing a new protein source, such as Real Lamb, Chickpeas & Lentils or Real Whitefish & Brown Rice.
